An air-conditioned wine store in a private old building from the 15th century is a cool thing in itself. But it becomes especially cool when the overall planning and execution is in the hands of Furch: in a kind of cabinet made of burnished steel frames with tinted insulating glass panes which reach from the seamless terrazzo floor to under the mighty ceiling beams, 

the  F 4.8 shelving system appears almost light and transparent. Besides the 'dining room', the entire floor of the historic building was redesigned. Unusual places need unusual solutions ...
