Our client, a sommelier and wine merchant, reached out to us with a request for a  >different< contemporary wine shop. His new city centre branch was to be built on 70 sqm of space in Stuttgart: not exactly a lot of room for the storage of about 1.200 types of wine - and then also with the stipulation that the shop must by no means look like a warehouse.

That was the birth of the F 4.8. We developed and perfected the system, worked out and realised the concept for the shop. 386 shelves were installed in 21 colours - and a whole new aesthetic of wine culture was created.
